ANNUAL TROPHIES

 

GENERAL

 

Points Year is 1st June-3lst May. Closing date 30th June. Forms available at Branch events throughout the year, to be returned to the Trophy Steward. Only members whose subs. are paid by 31st May can compete. Members who join the club after 1st January count points from then only.

 

Only dogs/bitches owned by Scottish Branch Members are eligible. In cases of dog/bitch owned jointly, all owners must be either Members or Associate Members, and the Committee must be satisfied the dog/bitch normally lives with the full Branch Member.

BREED TROPHIES

 

Points are awarded, in breed classes only (except Veteran Trophy), at Champ. Open and Ltd. shows in Scotland. However for the stud/brood trophies, points can also be claimed for progeny (which need not belong to a Scottish Branch Member) at Champ. Shows elsewhere in the UK.

 

   Linnmill Qi'aich         leading dog or bitch.

  Heatherbrig Trophy - leading dog or bitch in Linnmill bred in Scotland

  Sassenachs' Stoup -   leading dog or bitch in Linnmill bred outside of Scotland

  Pinebrig Salver -        as Linnmill but points are only scored at shows with 10 or more Beardie classes

   Sky puppy Trophy -    leading puppy 6-12 months, shows with 10 or more Beardie classes.

  Colliela Roin Cup -    leading Junior, 12 - 18 months, shows with 10 or more Beardie classes.

   Glengorm Auld Clootie Trophy - leading veteran points as Linnmill but count only from 7th birthday.

  Balmacneil Jock Trophy - leading stud dog, points scored by progeny

  Ch Calasona Westernisles Loch Aber Trophy     leading brood bitch, points scored by progeny

   

OBEDIENCE/AGILITY TROPHIES

 

Quothquan Coire Bhreacan - for leading dog or bitch owned by a Scottish Branch Member 

Whinnyhowe Shield -              for the runner-up

The Cassie Trophy -               for Novice Agility & Jumping

 

Points are awarded for Obedience/Agility shows throughout the UK.
